Bernie Hale is a solo singer-songwriter born and raised in Harriston, Ontario. He embraces his homegrown roots in every word, verse, and song he performs.
Bernie has been performing live for four years, sharing music rooted in songwriter-folk and Americana, with an acoustic sound that highlights his adept lyricism. His wide-ranging influences include John Prine, Burton Cummings, and Paul Simon, and newer artists like Noah Kahan, Zach Bryan, and Sam Barber.
Bernie independently recorded and released a 7-song EP in September 2025 and has more original music on the way. He has performed as a part of Beyond Borders at the Guelph River Run Centre, opened for Walk Off the Earth at the Elora Centre for the Arts, and earned airplay for two original tracks on the 100.1 The Ranch.
